Clare travel expert Melanie Cahill has been named Honeymoon Specialist 2018 at the fourth annual Brides of Limerick Awards. The Miltown Malbay based travel expert, who has been part of the leading independent travel specialists, Travel Counsellors, since July 2016, won at the ceremony in The Inn at Dromoland, Co Clare, on 11 November. 

The Brides of Limerick Awards welcomed 230 guests to celebrate the very best in wedding suppliers, from florists to venues. Customers were asked to vote online in each of the categories, with Melanie scooping Honeymoon Specialist due to her commitment to creating bespoke travel experiences for her clients.

Speaking on the award, Melanie said: “It was an incredible feeling to be named the Brides of Limerick Honeymoon Specialist 2018. I am so overjoyed and grateful; the award means so much to me on a personal and professional level.

“I am so honoured to receive such a huge acknowledgement for the work I put in to creating something special for each of my customers. I’d like to thank my clients, along with my family, friends and the Travel Counsellors team, who inspire me to be the best I can be.”
