02 August 2011 – SodaStream Ireland has launched a new Scrappage Scheme – trade in your old SodaStream and get a new one for up to 50% off. SodaStream has had a sleek makeover and is available in a range of designs and colours, including chrome, red and white whilst flavours are now all low-sugar or no-sugar with classics such as Cola, Lemonade, Tonic along with new favourites such as Cranberry and Raspberry and vitamin-rich ‘Energy’ drinks. SodaStream is available in Waterford in Harvey Norman, Soundstore, Kelly and Dollard (Waterford) and M&J Curran & Sons (Dungarvan). This offer is available until the 30/09/2011.
“SodaStream is one way families can have fun and save money at the same time, by using ordinary tap water to make great-tasting sparkling soft drinks. We are asking people to grab their old SodaStream’s from the attic, under the sink or in the garden shed and come down to their local stockist and get €32.50 off any new Jet, Pure or Genesis SodaStream Dispenser.” says Philip Nathan, Director, SodaStream Ireland.
“SodaStream is the ultimate recession busting product because not only can you save money immediately with this scheme but a bottle of flavour syrup costing €3.99 usually makes 15 to 20 litres of flavoured soda.” added Philip Nathan.
Every one litre bottle of SodaStream also saves three aluminium cans. That means that over 3 years, a family of four could slash their soft-drink-related packaging usage by over 90%.
SodaStream is priced at €64.99 for the soda making unit, with flavours starting from €3.99.
