Cork-born artist Chára Nagle has been heralded as one of the country’s most exciting talents and her stunning collection of equine fine art will be showcased in the Starters Orders solo exhibition that will take place in The Warren Gallery in Castletownshend from Friday, 26th of July to Saturday, 31st of August.

Free events tackle safety issues facing senior citizens in Cork

Home Instead Senior Care Cork today announced the launch of a series of free ‘Senior Safety Information Events’ in Douglas, Midleton, Mayfield and Glanmire in May. With nearly 45,000 people over 65 in Cork and the number of Irish citizens aged over 75 set to double from 207,000 at present to 414,000 in the next 12 years, these inaugural events aim to ensure Cork’s aging population is not left vulnerable in their own homes.
