DESCRIBE A TYPICAL DAY AT SPRINGBOARD?
It’s a very typical answer for PR practitioners that there is no such thing as a typical day in public relations…. and it truly is the case. On any given day, I could be working on content creation, media relations, digital, events, research and production. Flexibility, creativity and the ability to multi-task are essential qualities to see you through the day.
WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT YOUR JOB?
The people! I love talking and meeting different people. Whether that is interacting with the great team here at Springboard, or liaising and collaborating with my clients, working at Springboard is always interesting and never boring.
WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR FAVOURITE PROJECT TO WORK ON?
That is a tough one as I have worked on so many great projects since I started in Springboard. If I had to pick just one, it would have to be working on the launch of the Waterford Greenway. It won the Best Public Sector Campaign at the Awards for Excellence in Public Relations last year, and the diversity of the campaign — from media relations to video to digital — along with the measurable results, exceeding all KPIs, made it a fantastic one to work on. It is great to now see it among one of the leading tourism activities in the country.
WHAT ARE THREE WORDS YOU WOULD USE TO DESCRIBE SPRINGBOARD?
Our tagline is “creative, passionate, results driven”, which perfectly sums up Springboard.
