Cork travel agent Sarah McCarthy has won two prestigious accolades at the annual Travel Counsellors global conference. Beating over 1,500 colleagues, she was awarded the title of top performer in the world for Travel Counsellors’ long haul tailor-made holidays, along with top performing Travel Counsellor in Ireland for the seventh year running.

Glanmire-based Sarah scooped the double award at this year’s star-studded ceremony, which recognises the very best talent within Travel Counsellors’ global network of franchisees. Now 10 years running her successful business, Sarah prides herself on a loyal client base which continues to expand both in size and reach, as well as her commitment to an extremely high level of customer service.

The global conference, held in Manchester last month from November 18-20, included intimate performances from singer Ronan Keating and comedian Jack Whitehall. It was also attended by speakers such as Green & Black’s co-founder Jo Fairley and double Olympic hero Dame Kelly Holmes.
